Pork and gnocchi in a creamy mustard sauce
Preparation time : 5 min Cooking time : 15 min Servings : 4Melt the butter and sauté the onion. Add the pork strips and fry until browned.
- 30 ml butter
- 1 onion, halved and sliced
- 400 g pork stir-fry strips
- 20 ml cornflour
- 250 ml milk
- 30 ml whole-grain mustard
- 10 ml hot English mustard
- 5 ml fresh thyme (or 2ml dried)
- cooked pasta or gnocchi, to serve
- vegetables, to serve
Mix the cornflour with a little milk to form a paste. Add the mustards, thyme and remaining milk into the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add the cornflour paste and stir until the sauce thickens.
Pour the sauce over the cooked pasta or gnocchi and stir to coat. Serve with vegetables.
