This plush lounge in the East City is the perfect destination if you don’t want to tackle the downtown bustle. With live music and Italian-style aperitivo snacks, Harrington’s is always a great choice.

Off of Shortmarket Street, hidden away, is Outrage of Modesty. Self describe as a “speakeasy”, the cocktails and mixed drinks are built using local brands such as Hope on Hopkins and Musgrave.

Find this classic gin bar on the Asara Estate in Stellenbosch. With an immense collection of gins, and offering over 20 different tonics to mix them with, this elegant cocktail lounge is perfect for the gin connoisseurs.
