WATCH: Bacon, blue cheese and pear pastry parcels

- 2 fresh pears - peeled
- 1 packet chopped bacon - cooked
- 1 egg beaten
- 200 g blue cheese
- 2 packs store-bought puff pastry
Preheat oven to 200°C and grease a baking tray with cooking spray.
Slice pears thinly and set aside. Roll out puff pastry and use a cup or small bowl as a mould - to cut circles.
Place a small handful of bacon, a slice or two of pear and a few crumbs of blue cheese in each circle of pastry. Fold in half and pinch the edges. Use a fork to press down where you've pinched.
Place the pastry parcels on the baking tray and brush with the beaten egg.
Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before eating. They should be enjoyed warm. If they get a bit cold, heat them up slightly.
