Maple and mustard chicken
Sticky, savoury and moreish... winner winner chicken dinner!
- 8 chicken pieces
- salt - to taste
- pepper - to taste
- 1 lemon - zested and juiced
- 3 cloves garlic - finely crushed
- 4 tsp grain mustard
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup Maple syrup
- 2 Tbs olive oil
Preheat oven to 200C
Place the chicken into a roasting dish, then season with salt and pepper
Mix together the lemon juice, zest, garlic, mustards, maple syrup and olive oil
Pour sauce onto the chicken, then toss well. Cover with foil, then place into the oven and roast for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil, then return to the oven and cook for 20 minutes until the sauce becomes sticky and reduced.
