Asian-style beef with stir-fried vegetables

  • 300 g rump steak, sliced
  • 100 ml teriyaki sauce
  • 15 ml cornflour
  • sunflower oil
  • 1 pack ready-cut stir-fry vegetables
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • Chinese noodles, to serve
  • coriander, to serve
Pour half of the teriyaki sauce over the steak and mix well. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

Mix the cornflour with a little water to form a paste. Mix in the remaining teriyaki sauce. Heat the sauce in a wok or frying pan until thickened. Remove and set aside.

Heat a little oil in the wok and sear the meat. Remove and mix it into the thickened sauce.

Heat a little more oil and stir-fry the vegetables until just done. Add the spring onions and serve with the beef on a bed of Chinese noodles, garnished with coriander.
