Last-minute mini pizzas
Don’t let the name fool you; these taste like the real deal because the ingredients are every kid’s favourite.
- 3 tortillas
- 80 ml tomato sauce
- 375 ml mozzarella cheese, grated
- 3 Viennas, sliced
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
1 Using a biscuit cutter, cut three rounds from each tortilla.
2 Press each round into a lightly greased muffin tin.
3 Put 15 ml (1 tbsp) tomato sauce into the centre of each tortilla round.
4 Sprinkle cheese on top of the sauce.
5 Top each pizza with Vienna slices.
6 Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.
7 Remove and cool before packing in the lunchbox.
Use different toppings to suit your child’s preferences. We like halved cherry tomatoes and feta; pinneapple pieces and ham; bacon and banana; mushroom and ham; mince and mushrooms; peppadews and feta.
