Ingredients (8)

2 eisbein — pickled, cut into pieces
45-60 ml thai green curry paste
30 ml oil
2 onion — sliced
1 coconut milk
500 ml stock — chicken
1 cinnamon stick soy sauce
60 ml chopped fresh coriander basmati rice to serve

Method:

Using eisbein shortens the cooking time as the pork shank is
already salted and/or smoked.

1. Brush the eisbein pieces with the curry paste. Heat the
oil in a saucepan and brown the meat.

2. add the onions, coconut milk, stock and cinnamon, cover
and simmer for 1-2 hours or until the meat is tender. Season with soy sauce and
mix in the coriander (keep a little for garnish).

3. Serve with basmati
rice and garnish with coriander.
