Ingredients (12)

1 kg beef mince
300 g broccoli
1 onion — finely chopped
10 ml cumin — ground
BARBECUE SAUCE
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
10 cheddar cheese — sliced
10 bread — hamburger rolls
lettuce
3 tomatoes — large, sliced
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
gherkins
oven-bake chips — potato

Method:

Grease a baking tray with nonstick spray.

1 BURGER

Put the mince in a large mixing bowl.

2 Break the broccoli into florets and finely
chop in a food processor.

Add the broccoli, onion, cumin, barbecue sauce
and salt and pepper to the mince.

Mix well.

3 Divide the mince mixture into 10 patties
and refrigerate for about an hour.

4 Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Put the patties on the prepared baking
sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

5 Put beneath the oven grill and grill on
each side for 2 minutes.

Put the cheese slices on the hot burgers
as soon as they come out of the oven.

6 TO SERVE

Slice a bun open.

Put a few lettuce leaves on the bottom half
followed by 2 slices of tomato.

Season with salt and pepper.

Put a patty on top of the tomatoes, followed
by the gherkins (if using) and the top half of the bun. Repeat with the rest of
the buns and patties and serve with the oven-baked chips.
