The recipe doesn’t use cream so the result isn’t as rich as other ice creams, but the divine milk tart flavour makes up for that.

Ingredients (5)

1 condensed milk — tinned
1 evaporated milk — tinned
500 ml milk
5 ml ground cinnamon
ground cinnamon — to garnish

Method:

1. Mix the condensed milk, evaporated milk, milk and cinnamon
well – the cinnamon won’t dissolve but will be incorporated during the freezing
process.

2. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for 1-2
hours or until ice crystals start forming in the mixture. Use a fork to mix
through, then freeze for another hour. Mix through once again and freeze until
solid.

To serve

3. Remove the ice cream from the freezer about 30 minutes
before serving. Scoop into bowls and dust with extra cinnamon.
