Tuna, apple and pomegranate salad
A delicious yet simple salad, perfect for a light summer meal.
- 200 g mixed leaf salad
- 2 red apples, thinly julienned with skin on
- 6 strawberries, quartered
- 170 g tuna in oil, drained
- 125 ml pomegranate seeds
- 65 ml olive oil
- 65 ml red wine vinegar
- 15 ml wholegrain mustard
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Arrange salad green on a serving platter, top with strawberries, apple strips, flake tuna and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.
Mix together the vinaigrette ingredients.
Drizzle over the salad just before serving.
With the used Asian Mix Salad, it has an interesting mix of lettuce leaves and herbs.
