Amaretti semi freddo

Ingredients
  • 300 ml whipping cream
  • 125 ml sugar
  • 60 ml Amaretto/Kahlua
  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 1 packet Amaretti biscuits, crushed
Method

Whip the cream until thick. Beat sugar and egg yolks until pale and creamy. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Stir biscuits and liqueur into egg yolk. Fold in cream and egg whites.

Pour into a freezer container or large dish. Freeze for a few hours then serve.
